Volunteer for 2022 First Year Family Day!
Join the volunteer team for the 2022 First Year Family Day. If you have volunteered recently, I encourage you to continue your volunteer efforts!
The ceremony will take place Sunday, August 21st in Popejoy Hall at 4 pm, with reception to following at 5 pm in Cornell Mall.
There will be many different positions. You will only have to attend one volunteer meeting, and then off we go!
We will use the same online sign up as we did for spring commencement. You can view the number of assignments we have available and their time commitments. This sign up will also allow us to send you messages.
THEN, for us to show our gratitude, you get invited to the Volunteer Thank You Luncheon this fall. We are looking at scheduling towards the end of October. I will send out more details when all plans are finalized.
Email fmartinez23@unm.edu with any questions.

AY2022–2023 Faculty & Staff Parking Permit Renewal Notice
Parking & Transportation Services (UNM PATS) would like to remind current Faculty and Staff with an active AY21–22 parking permit paid for through payroll deduction, that the automatic renewal of their permit for Academic Year 2022–2023 (AY22–23) will be processed on the weekend of July 30-31.
If you do not want your current UNM parking permit to renew, please complete and submit the on-line “Do Not Renew Permit Request form " by 5 p.m. on July 27. Otherwise, you will need to wait until your AY22–23 permit is delivered before you can bring it in to have your payroll deduction stopped.
To ensure prompt and accurate delivery of your AY22–23 parking permit, please be sure to verify/update your mailing address information in UNM IT’s Demographic Self Service (DDS) application before Thursday, July 28.
Parking permits automatically renewed for AY22-23 permit season will be mailed starting on Monday, Aug. 8. Please expect your permit to arrive to your mailing address within 3–7 business days after your permit renewal has processed. If you are signed up for automatic payroll deduction and do not receive your AY22–23 parking permit by Aug. 15 please contact PATS business office at (505) 277-1938 (7:30 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday).
UNM Employees and other customers who use a credit card (instead of payroll deduction) to pay for their UNM parking permits will need to visit the UNM PATS Business Office to renew their permit in-person, beginning Wednesday, Aug. 3. The deadline to renew your AY22–23 permit is Friday, Sept. 2.
Please be aware that current parking permits (for AY21–22) are valid through Sunday, Aug. 21. To avoid possible citation, your new AY22–23 parking permit must be properly displayed in your vehicle effective Monday, Aug. 22 (the start of the fall semester).
For any questions, please contact UNM PATS main office.
