Staff as Students

One of the greatest benefits for staff is the ability to pursue education through Tuition Remission or through professional development activities. This benefit has a huge impact on employee morale and is critical to UNM’s efforts to improve the quality of staff working at UNM.

See the UNM Benefits page for more information about all benefits offered to UNM employees.

Staff as Students Event Information

The Staff as Students initiative provides UNM staff the opportunity to take courses to develop professionally and personally. At the event, staff helps staff by providing services regarding: admission, registration, tuition remission benefit, and advisement in one convenient location. Staff can learn about degree programs, distance education, personal and professional development options, as well as network with their colleagues across campus. During the Staff as Students events (one held in fall, one in spring), application fees are waived and paperwork processing is expedited. Be part of the tradition of staff supporting staff to learn and grow! Go Lobos!
