HSC Staff Mentorship Program 

The HSC Staff Mentorship Program is coming soon, and with so many on working from home (WFH) we are staying virtual in a virtual platform in which you can choose to mentor or be mentored.

The mission for the HSC Staff Mentoring Program is to provide HSC staff with experiences and resources to explore the many opportunities for growth within the University, and now through a virtual medium. Thanks to the partnership with UNM Human Resources, we are able to provide an updated framework which has more structure with set virtual workshops and/or online videos. Additional resources and tools have also been developed to enhance the mentor-mentee relationship.

The program will last for six months, commencing in June 2022. Applications will be accepted from March 16 to April 15.

Green Zone Training

President Stokes and the Veteran & Military Resource Center invite you to attend a Green Zone Training, March, 22 from 1 – 2:30 pm in the SUB.  This training will help attendees better understand the experience, needs and resources for our student veterans, service members and their families.

Staff as Students is April 4th!

The Staff Council Staff Success Committee is hosting the fall Staff as Students event on Monday, 04/04/22 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the SUB Ballrooms B & C. Priority Registration!! Fees Waived!! Learn about opportunities you may not know about and win a raffle!

Staff who are unable to attend the event should use their @unm.edu email account to message DEPT_Update-L@list.unm.edu beginning March 28. The email should include the staff member’s name, term for which they wish to register (Summer/Fall/both), and their UNM ID. Staff who attend Staff as Students in person will be the first to get their overrides; those who email will receive their overrides after the in-person event.
