Staff Appreciation Luncheon

This year’s Staff Appreciation Luncheon will be Wednesday, May 23rd. Mark your calendars! As an extra treat, staff may feature their amazing art work in the Staff as Artists exhibit outside. If you would like to share your expressive side, fill out the registration form and send to Carla Sakiestewa at While the event will not include sales, artists may share their business cards or other marketing information. Staff who do not work on Main Campus can park in the R Lot (see map here) on May 23 between 10:30 and 2pm, free of charge. Staff Council is footing the bill for this, to ease the strain for employees who do not work on Main Campus! We hope to see you there, and that this makes it just a little easier to enjoy the Staff Appreciation Luncheon! These spots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, and we ask Staff to be respectful of the time of others and only to park in the lot for the duration of your stay at the luncheon. Additional parking is always available in the Cornell parking structure, for $2/hour.

This event is for UNM Staff Members only and you will be asked for your ID at the door.  It is important that we monitor these events because if the event were open to all, including our community members, it would be counterproductive to the intended purpose of the event, which is to appreciate our wonderful staff here at UNM.  We appreciate your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you!
